I enjoy seeing the process other cartoonists and illustrators have when they design a character. Especially since I’m currently designing a number of characters for my comics (more on that in a future post).
Krishna Sadasivam, who draws PC Weenies, the autobiographical UNcubed and Draw Me a Robot (I wish I had thought of that), shared his process of creating a minotaur character.
I like how he chose the colour palette based on ancient Greek pottery. Otherwise, the viewer wouldn’t immediately think of Greek mythology.
