Today I came across a few Google Alerts in my inbox tagged with “Twitter” talking about Zombie Attack. To my delight, there are others who are using Twitter to tell a story! And by the number of followers they have, they seem to behaving a heck of a lot more success at it than me!

I haven’t had a chance to read the story yet but it seems to be the recounting of a zombie attack staring two brothers. Should be a lot of fun to read :)

From the looks of it, it’s one account you have to follow which makes it simple. No, I have to make things complicated and try and involve 2 characters/accounts ;) Seriously, it made me rethink how I am going to promote Twitterspud (my storytelling experiment with Twitter).

The easiest way, of course, is for me to have Spud and Willomina add random people as their friends and hope those people tell two friends and so on, but that would turn me into a Twitter spammer. Thus, the challenge of engaging the audience to create conversation.

Over the weekend, I will change the TwitterSpud website to make it easier to understand. I may remove the iFrame altogether (but keep the archive) to promote the use of Twitter as a means to follow along.
