About My Approach

My comics about life with stuttering taught me how to express complex emotions visually and communicate in ways that connect deeply with people.

That same mindset guides my UX work. I listen, observe, and design experiences that make people feel understood.

Whether I’m mapping a user journey, improving accessibility for a design system, or simplifying a complex workflow, I use design as a storytelling tool to clarify, include, and build understanding.

I’m especially passionate about accessibility and ensuring digital products are usable and welcoming to everyone. My process blends research, systems thinking, and visual communication to make complexity simple and empathy actionable.

How Storytelling Powers My UX Work

Visual storytelling has always fueled my empathy. It’s how I learned to see the world through others’ eyes. That same mindset guides my UX work.

Visual storytelling builds empathy

By illustrating emotions and experiences, I’ve learned to see from others’ perspectives. This is the essence of UX.

Design helps me clarify stories

UX has taught me how to simplify complexity, guide attention, and communicate ideas visually and accessibly.

Together, they amplify understanding

Both crafts share my goal in helping people feel and understand something that once seemed confusing or inaccessible.
