Educating with animated cartoons
Educating with animated cartoons
Video has been a very popular medium for engaging audiences across digital devices.
When Procreate, the drawing app I use to draw Franky Banky comics, introduced its export-to-video timelapse feature, it gave me the idea of creating Franky Banky animated cartoons – in the style of whiteboard animations which were popular at the time.
I thought this concept would be a perfect fit since I’ve been drawing Franky Banky comics.
The first “drawtoon” featured is another parody of a movie. This time it’s that famous scene in Star Wars which needs no introduction.
My goal with this video was to educate viewers that those of us who stutter simply need a little extra time to say what we need to say.
The second “drawtoon” featured here is a parody of the movie, The King’s Speech.
My goal with this video was to encourage viewers who stutter to give stepping out of their comfort zones a try for the benefit of spreading much needed stuttering awareness.
You can view all of my drawtoons on the Franky Banky website.
