Here are two clever ways to explain the somewhat abstract idea of blogging (and social media in general, of course) using real, physical methods (what a concept!).

The first is described in Paper Blogging. Teaching students how to blog using a bulletin board (to pin up your blog post) and post-it notes (for readers to add comments). A fun, cool concept even if the teacher’s goal has nothing to do with social media.

The second method is explained in the video below by my friend, Daryl, who uses the activity of passing and commenting on each other’s notes.
